Problem: Lack of scalability and management for giveaway campaigns

Solution: Create a system for launching and managing all giveaways and contests

Designed and developed end-to-end giveaway campaigns with complete support and control.

The Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears and Chicago Tribune created giveaways that awarded fans a combination of free tickets to Bulls or Bears home games for the season, courtside perks and locker room access. These campaigns were promoted by the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears and Chicago Tribune through email and social channels.

I lead the creative team to design both promotional campaigns and web environments. Along with providing all design and development for the giveaway pages, I also created a dashboard area for the team to manage all entry submissions and information.

Chicago Bulls Giveaways

Created a series of responsive, monthly giveaways with a variety of user engagement approaches such as simple email form submission and fan quizzes that would offer additional rewards.

Chicago Bears Giveaway

Designed and developed a giveaway with the Chicago Bears that included creating a unique landing page and branding that aligned with the team’s seasonal design system. It also integrated directly into the Bears native web environment.

Admin Dashboard

I created a dashboard area for managing users and user info collected from the giveaway submission forms. From this environment the marketing team could manage all submissions (add, remove, edit), pull winners and export all results for either a single or multiple campaigns.

With the success of these giveaways, both teams requested to use the new environment to manage future campaigns.
